Real guidance for real-life caregiving.

Whether you’re preparing for your first day as a nurse aide or trying to navigate the changing needs of an aging parent, you deserve information that’s clear, practical, and grounded in experience.

I’m Yvonne “Eve” Taylor — known to many of you as Eve Monique, GNP-BC — a Board-Certified Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, nurse educator, and owner of a Nurse Aide training school.

My own journey began in 1994, as a nurse aide. I know exactly what it feels like to walk into that first shift — unsure, hopeful, and eager to do right by the people in my care. From those earliest days at the bedside to becoming a Nurse Practitioner and educator, I’ve had the privilege of caring for older adults, supporting the families and caregivers who love them, and helping aspiring healthcare professionals take their first steps into meaningful careers.

What I’ve learned is this: caregiving can feel overwhelming. Healthcare can feel complicated. And sometimes, you simply need someone to explain things in a way that makes sense.

That’s why I started EvetheGNP.com.

My Philosophy

I believe that caring is healing.

Whether you’re helping someone recover, supporting them through chronic illness, teaching a new healthcare student, or sitting beside a loved one during difficult conversations — compassion matters. Knowledge matters, too.

When we combine clinical expertise with empathy, we create care that honors dignity, builds confidence, and changes lives.

A Little More About Me

I’m a Board-Certified Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP-BC) with a passion for helping people feel more prepared and less alone. But long before the credentials, I was a nurse aide myself — starting in 1994 — and I’ve never forgotten where I began.

In addition to my clinical work, I own a Nurse Aide training school, where I help students build meaningful careers in healthcare. Seeing individuals discover their purpose through service is one of the greatest joys of my work.

Through EvetheGNP.com, my hope is simple: to take the lessons learned through years of caring for others and turn them into resources that help you care with confidence.

Because whether you’re just beginning your healthcare journey or walking alongside someone you love, you don’t have to figure this out alone.

With warmth,
